BOGRA YMCA
Bogra YMCA was established in the year 1979. Mr.Sailendra Baroi was its first President and Mr.Harold Biswas was the first General Secretary of Bogra YMCA.
For the present tenure Mr. Paul Besra is the President, while Mr. Robin Marandi is the General Secretary of Bogra YMCA.
The first program center of Bogra YMCA was situated at Sherpur Road, Jaleswaritala at a rented facility. Later it was shifted to its own property situated at Bhai Pagla Majar Lane, Sherpur Road.
The Bogra YMCA provides Free Education to destitude children, through operating a number of Non Formal Primary Education Schools. Vocational Training is offered to the youth for creating job opportunities. The Community Organizing Program offers Micro Credit Facilities for thousands of Program Participants. Bogra YMCA also Guest House and Kinder Garten School for the sustainability of the YMCA.
At present there are more than 100 members involved with the Bogra YMCA.
